Justice Shyamal Sen is a distinguished legal figure with a long and illustrious career in the Indian judiciary system. He enrolled as an advocate of the Calcutta High Court in July 1964 and went on to work as a part-time lecturer in commercial and industrial laws at the City College in Calcutta from 1964 to 1971. He continued his academic pursuits at the Law Department of Calcutta University from 1971 to 1985.
Justice Sen's legal acumen and expertise earned him several important positions within the judiciary, including being appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court on April 29, 1999. He went on to serve as the Acting Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court, taking oath on May 8, 2000, before being appointed as the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court on July 18, 2000.
In addition to his contributions to the judiciary, Justice Sen also served as the Governor of West Bengal from May 18, 1999, to December 4, 1999. His impressive career has made him a respected and revered figure in the legal community, and his contributions to the judiciary continue to inspire future generations of legal professionals.

Mr Bhatia is an ardent cricket lover and has dedicated his life to promoting the sport and ensuring that it reaches less fortunate children across the globe. In 2007, he founded the Cricket for Care Foundation, which aims to provide underprivileged children with access to cricket coaching, equipment, and facilities. Since its inception, the foundation has donated over $1m to various causes related to cricket, and has helped countless children develop their cricketing skills.
Apart from his philanthropic efforts, Mr Bhatia has also curated his own cricket museum in the UAE. The museum, which is known as the Cricket for Care Museum, boasts one of the largest collections of cricketing memorabilia in the world. The museum features a vast array of items, including vintage cricket bats, balls, jerseys, photographs, and other memorabilia from some of the greatest players and matches in the history of the game. Mr Bhatia is passionate about preserving the rich history of cricket, and his museum is a testament to his love for the sport.
